Artists – both established and emerging - are invited to enter Balaklava Courthouse Gallery’s annual art prize exhibition, to be held from Wednesday July 3 until Sunday September 8.

In its 34th year, and with award prizes of more than $3000, including the major prize of $2000, the 2024 Balco Balaklava Art Prize & Associated Awards exhibition invites entries across a range of mediums and genres, including painting, sculpture, pastel, photography and printmaking.

​

10 award categories include Country Life/Landscape, Portrait, Still Life, Works on Paper and Photography prizes, Secondary and Primary Student awards, and a People’s Choice Award.

Entries close on Wednesday June 26 2024. Prize winners will be announced on Sunday July 7th at 2pm at the official opening of the exhibition, which is again proud to be part of August’s annual SALA (South Australian Living Artists) Festival.
